Dora Cetrone, PT, CHT, Cert MDT

Dora Cetrone, PT, CHT,Cert.MDT has been a physical therapist for 10 years and joined the SOS Guilford Division team in July 1999. She completed her undergraduate and graduate studies in Physical Therapy at Springfield College in Springfield, MA in 1998 where she received her BS and MSPT. Dora proudly serves as a staff physical therapist along with a team of multi-talented clinicians. She strongly values individualized and thorough patient care.

Since joining the SOS family, Dora received her certification in Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy through the McKenzie Institute for spinal care in 2004. In addition to practicing general orthopaedic rehabilitation, in 2007 she received her credentials as a Certified Hand Therapist with specialization in care of the upper extremity and splinting techniques.

Some areas of special career interests include proficiency in Spanish speaking to aide in communication needs of our Hispanic patient population and torticollis pediatric care. As the PT center coordinator of clinical education, Dora welcomes the interest of local and national students regarding internship requests.

Dora is a native New Englander and currently enjoys life in NC with her husband Dan, a collegiate men’s lacrosse coach, and their two young sons. She looks forward to further developing her family roots, career, and patient relationships in North Carolina.
